CCR is a center for public interest research and education based in Chicago which regularly publishes reports on issues ranging from the civil justice system, insurance costs and health care quality, to workplace and consumer safety, economic and environmental issues.

From our Annual Survey of Illinois Voters to topical surveys and focus groups on a wide range of questions, CCR is a reliable source of public opinion research.

CCR advocates for consumer rights across Illinois and the nation. We are a leader in working to strengthen and defend citizen access to the courts, to improve oversight over health care practitioners and to improve workplace and consumer safety.

CCR is committed to injury prevention and uncovering dangerous secrets, whether they are hidden away in the courts or in malpractice records. Pocketbook issues are a core interest, from unreasonable loan and banking fees to insurance and health care costs.
